Supreme Court of Delaware.
January 16, 1821.
On the third Tuesday, the 16th day of January, 1821, John Collins of Sussex County, elected Governor on the first Tuesday of October last, at the general election, was sworn into office by Kensey Johns, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, at Dover, in the Senate Chamber, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, and of a number of other citizens assembled to view the ceremony. Willard Hall, Esq., is appointed Secretary of State.[2]
